Welcome to the AIRTREE beta version website! We are delighted to present our project that promotes environmental sustainability through innovative solutions. Our site offers two main features to help you learn about the ecosystem services of the surrounding greenery and create a greener, more lush environment. The first service, called “AirTree,” allows you to input geometries and associated information through an intuitive web-GIS interface. With AirTree, you can easily map and analyze the environment where you wish to plant trees or learn more about existing trees and forests in terms of carbon and air pollutant removal. This advanced tool will help you assess the feasibility and suitability of different tree species for your selected location, considering factors such as climate, topography, and soil characteristics. The second service we offer is a decision support system (DSS) dashboard, which assists users in choosing the most suitable tree species for their needs. Using the DSS, you can provide details about the surrounding environment and the soil where you want to plant trees. The system will provide personalized recommendations to help you make informed decisions, taking into account your aesthetic preferences, the ecosystem services you want to achieve, and the specific needs of the location. AIRTREE aims to combine technology and sustainability to create a positive impact on the environment. AIRTREE is the result of collaboration between researchers and industry experts, and we hope our website provides you with all the information you need to make the most of our features. Join us in this mission to preserve nature and create a greener, more sustainable future for all. This version of AIRTREE has already been tested by experienced staff and is now being made available to a wider range of users, with the confidence that it will help them to uncover any new bugs or system errors. In this case, please report the matter to air-tree@cnr.it
